While it is true that 2016 was a year of great sowing, we are expecting a good harvest from 2017.
During the year that we left behind, in fact, we have been working especially with a view to the many new products now available on the market. We are talking about 23 new product categories, divided evenly among the corporate brands: Idrobase pressure washers, industrial misting systems by Idrotech, accessories and spare parts to build or repair any type of pressure washer from Club dei Riparatori, the brand new Club del Misting, with over 2,000 articles to build and repair any misting system, as well as Enjoy solutions, outdoor furniture and much more.
2016 was the year in which we had a new management software, a new corporate website and, already in October, launched the 2017/18 Catalogue of Solutions. We got stronger by investing in new warehouses, opened in Russia and in the United States, in order to minimize delivery timing for distributors in these markets. With All For Clean, then, we have spread Made in Italy inside China.
Many, many initiatives, in a year in which we were able anyway to get a + 5% compared to previous year group sales. A highly significant information to face 2017 with great confidence: we planned to reach a +15% compared to 2016. We planned to push up distribution system turnover, given that this is still the great engine that moves Idrobase Group world.
