The complete nebulization and ventilation system refreshes and sanitizes the Egyptian 'city of cows', an innovative state breeding farm with 15.000 dairy cattle, located in Madinat Al-Sadat, the 'city of Sadat'. The news bounced from Utrecht, Holland, where Idrobase Group presented, at the VIV world exhibition, a new complete atomization and ventilation system, called 'VentoFresco': in short, misting modules at 80 bar, which generate a flow of micronized water and diffuse it through air circulators.
Food self-sufficiency, brought back to the forefront by the pandemic and war emergencies, also passes through animal welfare and the environmental sustainability of breeding farms.
The primary objective of the system is to reduce heat stress, which affects animal productivity and increases mortality.
The water technology used also allows the abatement of dust, caused by the movement of the animals, which causes respiratory pathologies. The nebulization of water prevents the spread of germs and bacteria in line with the " Clean Breathing" philosophy of the Veneto-based company, which also collaborates with the University of Padua.
Finally, in compliance with the most modern laws, 'VentoFresco' eliminates odours, ridding the air of harmful gases and carbon dioxide produced by animal metabolism.
"Our proposal,' comments Bruno Ferrarese, Co-President of Idrobase Group, 'is a response to help make breeding farms compatible with the growing attention of consumers to sustainability criteria. Italy is not only a land of agri-food excellence, but over the years has developed a strong focus on the healthiness of the production chain, recognized by the market and, for this reason, often opposed by partisan interests. Today more than ever, however, we are convinced that Made in Italy is a winning asset, of which we are proud testimonials."
