Idrobase Group, drawing on its international position in the components sector and in the production of pressure washers and misting systems, has acquired the cleaning division of Verona-based ITM Italia, headquartered in Lazise sul Garda. As of 31 July, the company, founded in 1981, will cease production and transfer its brand, customer portfolio, sales network and production moulds to Idrobase Group. The company’s employees have already been relocated.
Through this acquisition, Idrobase also enters the professional pressure washer market, after having already established itself in the industrial machinery sector.
“This operation,” explains Bruno Ferrarese, co-owner of Idrobase Group, “allows us to acquire know-how that we did not previously have: namely, expertise in water boilers for pressure washers. We will now be able to manufacture them at our plant in Veneto region, controlling the production chain and reducing costs, thereby increasing the competitiveness of our machines, as we have already done with the production of components and accessories and, from this year, also with Dolly Pumps.”
“The ITM brand will continue to exist, with its own catalogue aimed at a specific market segment,” adds Bruno Gazzignato, the Idrobase Group’s other co-owner, who is currently completing the restructuring of the company’s organization through the application of Lean methodology and Artificial Intelligence.
“In 2027,” concludes Ferrarese, “we expect Idrobase Group’s turnover, currently standing at around €15 million, to increase by 25%.”
Next year is also expected to mark the concrete launch of licensed "Dolly Pumps" production in Algeria, a key step in driving the expansion of the Idrobase brand across the African market.
