The Botanical Garden of Padua, the oldest in the world (1545),
part of UNESCO heritage, is going through a renovation project of sustainable
architecture developed by the University of Padua which merges tradition and the highest technological
standards. It took only three years to create a garden with 15 hectares
devoted to plants coming from all over the world, protected under a glass and
concrete dome which uses the thermal springs of Abano Terme and the energy of
the sun.
Idrobase
Group became part of this important project thanks
to the supply of an Idrotech misting system which is capable of
recreating the climatic conditions of the rainforests. This is a system which
have the purpose of preserving the estimated humidity in homogeneous
environments according to a specific and pre-set range of value.
